I think flick was better in 2020 with similar but different plans, at one point my bill was 7 dollars a week on freestyle with my AC on day n night n cooking, decided to switch to slingshot though just for the 20 off power internet bundle, hope to rejoin flick again sometime.
Don't bother, you'll never be able to get ahold of them, even if it is an urgent problem. I have tried for days to get through to them, even being hung up on after being on hold for 30mins and their call back service fails to actually call you back. My application was never processed by them after they said it is still pending on their site for over a month and so my power was shut off by my other energy provider It's a shame coz I really wanted to use them. = Edit: they apologized and fixed everything with a $75 credit.
My experience with this Power Suppler has been first class. Constantly reviews my usage and adjusts my plan to provide the best economical plan for me.
Worst customer service ever. I just had a call with Flick to discuss their rates and the customer respective cut the line when I am comparing the rates between an my existing provider. That is so rude. I can't imagine if I joined you and needed your support service.
Flick give good service, always communicating with clients re power issues, price changes, and other good ideas to follow
Although everyone has differences in opinion with there experience with Flick, I cannot fault them at all. Very happy that I switched to Flick nearly two years ago, never had to call them for any issue, I like the weekly payment based on usage, affordable pricing and up to date information if any changes.
Hopeless service from this business. We have a business and looking for a better deal from a power company so my husband tried to ring Flick but they dont pick up phone calls. if you ring their 0800 number no one picks up the call. I dont know how they are doing business in NZ. Will never recommend them to any of my friends.
Flick electric is my first electric company to sign up with. There very convenient and have amazing customer service representative’s. They have been having issues with pausing payments however do there best to make sure your happy. They literally gave me $30 credit and refunded my money twice just because they forgot to pause the payment. If this ain’t “make the customer happy” attitude then I don’t know what is Thanks flick
Google won't let me rate as a 0 star. Our flat of many was incorrectly signed up on low-user plan, and we couldn't believe how expensive the bill was for a summer month. More than we ever had ever paid for any month after 4 years in cold flats. We made an effort to conserve power the next month, and when the bill came through as almost double the cost, we thought this couldn't be right. Called Flick up to see what was going on, they said signed up as wrong plan, nothing they could do yadiyadiya. Was told the same thing by a couple of staff. If a household/residential address is using that much power, it is clear they are on the wrong plan and Flick should have informed us of this. Rather than fleecing us for extra money. And then to be told there was nothing they could do to make this right, disgraceful and dishonest. Never changed utility company so fast!
Just done my bill review after two years of being a Flick customer. Surprisingly, I've been charged more than the advertised rates on the website. Plus, be really careful when you check the dashboard, they said the price includes GST, but that's only for the total cost, the unit rate is without GST! Which will make people feel like it's cheap! This is misleading info!!
