Story

Fleurs Place is a restaurant, cafe and bar right on the waterfront at the old jetty in Moeraki Village. Our specialty is fresh fish straight from the fishing boats and wherever possible we use fresh local ingredients.

The restaurant established itself on an early whaling station site in 2002 and is built from gathered collectables and demolition materials from all over New Zealand.


Owner, Fleur Sullivan has made her reputation in Central Otago where she established Olivers restaurant and she has received numerous awards for her restaurants and in recognition for her contribution to tourism.

One of the most delicious, amazing place Fluer is a very lovely person welcomes everyone and has a nice chat to them. Staff are so Friendly. Highly recommended
This is a must stop on your way through Moeraki. Full of character & charm. Divine food & wine. Open Thursday to Sunday for lunch & dinner. I recommend you book if you don't want to miss out!
The waitstaff are super friendly. Fleur is really nice and it's really nice to see her interacting with her customers she is a lovely person. The food is AMAZING. Well worth what you pay for. Totally recommend the sharing fish platter. All the food we had was delicious.
The freshest seafood you’ll ever find! The fish are all fresh off of the local fishing boats. The place feels very unique and soulful, filled with gratitude to fleur as well as gratitude to great food. Very pricey but well worth it for the experience
Absolutely best seafood I have eaten at a restaurant in a long time. So fresh and heaps of flavour. Loved the attention to detail and the sauce served in a paua shell. Kids meals were large sized and loved the fact they weren't the usual deep fried options.
Just fantastic!! They were fully booked but when they knew we desperately wanted to eat there, squeezed is in on terrace. Fleur herself wrapped us in blankets as we were outside cold but sunnyish and sped up the service. Fabulous blue cod and veggies.
Fresh seafood, nice atmosphere and professional staff.
