Teachers are keeping the children in the school during the time when they are meant to go home. This angers many parents. If the child was walking home alone than the parents will worry thinking something has happened to their child.
This school has taught me almost everything I know till today and I have had incredible memories with the fantastic and supporting teachers and classmates. Some of the teachers that I miss dearly include Mrs Crouch, Mrs Ball, Miss Velasquez, Mr Gorsia and Miss Stanley. I recommend this school to anyone and everyone.
Low standard school . After school teachers awful , just waiting to finish the day and leave, always in a hurry , if you will have more than 2 words from them it will be a mirqcle. Understand that are not getting paid, but somehow the board will manage to pay them by increasing the fees. I have seen a scene in one of the mornings that will stay in my mind for a long time : In the early morning a child was left at the breakfast club another baby in the buggy , the breakfast ladies chatting in the class , the child was waiting at the door at 2 degrees celsius and they didn’t open the door for the poor child . He had to wait until was :45:00 seconds. The child had to wait at the door in cold. How about that ? Regardless of how much you are being paid ladies, you should open that door, i mean this is what the most of educated people will do. Basically breakfast and after club ladies will have to be paid more. I am willing to pay hoever it needs to just to see them happy. Maybe then , the attitude will change… or not. Outdated payment service. Regards.
Our daughter has been going here for the last 4 years. It is wonderful to see her grow into a smart and confident girl. All the staff has been very helpful and want the children to prosper. Thank you Elmgrove family.
My experience was horrible at this school. The most unhelpful and unfriendly atmosphere. They don't inform you of rules, as soon as you make an error they take glee to report you saying you made an error and you have to face the consequences. Made me feel as if I am not a fit parent but they are better. the attitude and environment of the school was as if they are better than everyone. I have not witnessed such a snobbish and stuck up attitude of all staff. No smiling faces. It was a bad experience.
It was a great school in 2017 with mr Asthorpe but now with miss neary, I heard that she isn't spending money on Oscars which is taken place every year, celebrating our achievements. Luckily I got out of the school just in time. But I don't know how the students there feel.
I can’t wait for my child to leave this school. They don’t deal with children fairly at all. One rule for some people and another rule for others. My kid loved school and learning but now he hates school, he gets reds letters just for exchanging words with other kids and even excluded for few days. But when he get pushed strangled and punched on his face by another kid in class,in front of a teacher who also got hit in the face by my kid when the kid pushed him to her. I was very proud off my kid because he never laid his hands on that kid. He controlled his anger and listened to the teacher. Which the school called me and told me just that and that my child was not in trouble. See I told my kid you did the right thing see. Next day my kid came home with a red letter no phone call from school just my kid who says to me you see mum I told you they just makeup rules but they never follow them for everyone. So I question my kid, my kid got red letter repelling back to the kid that was calling him names. Then I asked what happened to the other kid he only got a red letter that’s it. My child’s hopes of fairness was breaken and now after so many times of this happening. All I can say to other parents stay alert when it comes to this school or any other schools that treat some kids differently. Shame on you for breaking my child spirit.
