I had a great morning fishing with Chris on the Upukerora river. We hooked into a few fish and coming from the North Island I learnt a lot about the nuances and differences about casting and nymph fishing in the South Island. Im looking forward to coming back when I have more time to explore the rivers around Te Anau with Chris.

Chris is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of fly fishing. He is a patient instructor and is passionate about his home fisheries in Southland and the Fjordlands. Equally important - he will certainly put you into position to cast to the fish of a lifetime.
Chris is a very passionate guide, he loves what he does and that is why he is constantly transmitting his knowledge in the river, always as anxious as you to find and catch the biggest fish. He is a great host and really good person.
