Small theater,comfortable and during intermission,they actually will bring a previous food order to your seat. Mine was a Cappuccino and a slice of chocolate cheese cake.
A great way to spend a lazy afternoon here at the Te Anau Cinema - watching Ata Whenua- Shadowland, with a beer and snacks . The seats are spacious and comfortable, and the theatre has a great audio quality setup.
What a great little cinema/bar with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Ata Whenua film is a breath taking bit of cinematography that captures the essence of the Fiorland's - the topography, wild life, trivial facts and some of the local Maori stories to name a few. a great introduction to one of the worlds best keep secrets! The bar offers a great selection of beverages and food including local on tap beers and a selection of foods to nibble on. Great to meet Kim and the crew, who were more than accommodating and friendly. Keep up the great work team, such a delight and experience!
Great film about the Fjordland. Super friendly staff. Cosy little cinema with very comfy seats.
The te anau cinema is one of the comfortable sets in whole new Zealand . Also they're serve a lovely desert during movie begins or half way. Just come to see and feel it a nice service. I love it.
We were recommended at the local gallery to go and see the beautiful cinematography of the local Fiordland. Ata Whenua - Shadowland, certainly didn't disappoint, the film is a delight to watch and very informative too. The cinema is cosy with a vintage feel, we enjoyed sitting by the fire with a tasty ginger beer before the film. There's a bar to relax in too. A great idea for something to do in an evening, very budget friendly as an added bonus.
The cinema is really nice and screening on every hour between from 9am to 7pm the wonderful New Zealand Fiordland movie Ata Whenua - Shadowland. It shows the stunning natural diversity of the Fiordland.
Great experiences with drink and an intro to fjordland.
