What once was a roaming world of wonder is now....welcome please use this screen to purchase your items. Service is still very professional . Very good for prices but now a Macdonalds of the bottle shop world. It's a huge shame it's come to this.
Popped in before Christmas Day, there were plenty of helpful staff on board when the doors opened at 9 am, the stocks had been depleted but there was still lots of other white and red wines available. Plenty of parking outside and easy street access. Nice touch with the grapevines growing beside the road. Plenty of mobility access, both for car parking and access inside the store.
Can't really give more than 3 stars. Really miss wandering around the bins and shelves, picking up bottles and looking at & reading the labels. Nothing wrong with the wines, but an experience is missing. I'm sure the profits are up though
I ordered one dozen wine from Fine Wine Delivery that was to be delivered by courier. Delivery required a transfer between the main courier and rural delivery and somewhere in this chain the wine went missing. Fine Wine Delivery promptly took ownership of the problem and successfully arranged another delivery. Great client service!
Actually enjoy the click and collect process now as the selection has improved. Staff were helpful and quick to gather items. Good sales for various products and easy parking.
Well, I took out a subscription for a mixed dozen of whites every three months. Asked for a mix of Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. Received 11 Chardonnays, & 1 pinot gris. Which wasn't quite what I was after. Upon enquiry, the reason given was that their AI didn't have enough data to work with. But I would've thought that even an ignorant AI could've figured out that a 50/50 C/G mixture didn't really work out at 11/1 C/P. Still, prepared to give them another chance. Some of the Chardonnays were very tasty.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Mostly click and collect now but online orders are accepted at the koisks at the door. There is a huge range of alcohol - something for everyone
I went for one of their beer and food tasting events and it was fantastic. Great range of both food and drink. Well organized, friendly staff and overall a great experience.
Staff are extremely helpful , they have rentable wine cellars if desired and they are passionate about wine . Family owned business
Plenty of good wine, beer and spirits.
