Great selection of different stalls. Got some beautiful cherries. They have upped the anti since I last went to a market, that's for sure. Healthy competition gives an opportunity to get a lower price as the consumer. Good that covid wise people can keep these markets ongoing. I'll revisit.
Just went for a browse today and the range of fresh foods made me smile. Always good to support local producers. Didn't get to fully explore much else, but was excited by what I got to have a peek at.
Such a lovely market for all people. You can find anything here, and everything is very cheap. We love the seafood, fresh and price so affordable. I even eat the oyster directly after bought it. For sure will pay a visit next time if come back to Victoria. Oh, the souvenir market here is among the cheapest at Victoria.
Iconic market. Bought some Large Sweet Fuji apples...very nice. There is a festive gift shop just outside the markets. Very well stocked with a huge range of unusual ornaments and the like. My girlfriend purchased a hand made metal construction Mini Car ornament that she just loves. Highly recommended.
Love this place. It best to go early to avoid crowds. Have a doughnut and feel fat. Walk it off and buy some cheese so I can feel fat again. This is one of my happy places.
Definitely lost its bustle and vibe since covid but in its defence it has some amazing stalls and the deli hall is amazing as always. The stall holders here are always friendly and knowledgeable about their produce.
The market has different types of shops from vegetables/fruits to books/shoes. The number of shops and crowd is more on a weekend. No matter when you go, do not miss the famous donuts - sold from a van sorry forgot the name and usually has long queue, but worth the wait.
I love the Queen vic markets when it's at full operation. During Covid a lot of stalls aren't opening but I'm sure will when the pandemic ends. There still a lot to see but just know it's not currently at full operation. Always worth a visit though
Great variety of produce and beautiful shops. Nice range of Australian made products. Worth the visit! I love the candles sold at Parlour.
