Considering the ferry crosses some of the most treacherous waters in the world I felt quite at ease. The skipper clearly very experienced at what he does and a massive well done to the lovely crew who were very caring and tending to people who felt unwell.nWhat a great bunch, thank you so much for the journey to the island and back!nThe lady at the counter was also super nice and helpful thank you
Must visit the takeaway across the street!nPark on Wilson’s, it’s just $5 a day.
Parking available. Toilet facility. Waiting area
Great view! The terminal is run by Real NZ.
The luggage drop and retrieval is unique but it works. Decent bathrooms and a small waiting space, does the trick.
