It’s a quiet , clean and nice place to stay. The people in reception were always helpful and efficient The only problem was that there was only one kitchen to share between a lot of guests, so when it’s the busy time of the season can be a little crowded. Also I found so many times the kitchen and bathroom completely closed because of the cleaning lady and that was a quite annoying, to depend on her times. They could improve on that.
Place is alright. Owners seem like nice people at first, but will do anything to get any two dollars from you. The drying machine was broken and when I asked to get my coins back the lady told me it wasn't her fault, that she didn't know it was broken and that she wouldn't give me my four dollars back. Just like that. It's not about the money, but the lack of respect with their customers. Heard bad stories that were shared from other people that were at the camping during the same days. Bunk beds lodge can get pretty warm. You have to pay 50 cents for a hot shower, which is ok. Kitchen is well equipped. Would never go back.
We had a lovely time here. Was staffed by a friendly & helpful guy, who let us store our bikes while we hired a kayak for a couple of days. One of the best herb/vegetable gardens I've seen at a holiday park.
Calm and clean. The campground has everything you need and more, including a veg and herbs garden for all to enjoy. Kitchen is very well furnished, there are plenty of tables for a lovely outside dinner. Showers are 50cts for 6min which felt like a million years under the best shower in a while. The internet is a bit slower but it's a free 1go so no complaint.
We stayed here for two nights and unfortunately would not return. Would prefer to freedom camp than stay. It was very dusty and people didn’t stick to the 5 km speed limit. It was very noisy by the main road into Motueka. It did have a swimming pool which was nice. No dump station. Not great value for money.
21 Dollar for a tent side is a good price. You get a small kitchen, a bathroom 50 cents per shower, a TV lounge and 1gb free WiFi. Overall the furniture is a bit too old, bathroom smells a bit and the floor in there gets wet but it's okay for couple of nights
Sad to hear the place is closing... Having a great stay on one of the last weeks you'll be open. Your little goodbye message is spot on. Thanks for making the start to our 2020 pleasant!
Lovely place. Nice to find a holiday park that was small and quaint with all the amenities. Favorite of all those we have stayed in. Highly recommend.Service: 5/5
Absolutely awful. The camp is situated in the space of an inverted Y, with the Y being primary roading. One arm of the Y is the Motueka High St and the other is the 50 km to 100 km speed limit transition of the State Highway after a roundabout i.e., everyone revving up to highway cruising speed next to the camp, including the usual boy racers. The immediate neighbours were shocking large camping group with music, booze, etc., would not turn off the music. We took out our 2 person backcountry tent, left the cabin, and squeezed into the quietest place we could find next to a fence the bottom middle of the inverted Y. Throughout all this, the male operator was bordering on Basil Fawlty territory the lady operator was much friendlier during the day. Truly the worst place we have stayed at in NZ been living here for 10 years. Never placed an accommodation review before. This camp made a big impression on us.
22$ for an ugly unpowered campsite, showers you have to pay extra and a dirty pool and inclusive was 1 Gb wife pp that is not even working on your site but atleast the toilets have been clean and the staff was friendly
