The burger shop is always packed with a long line of people. Luckily the queue went fast, and got an app to notify when burger is ready. It was Sunday nite, twenty five mins in queue and an hour waiting for burger.nnI tried the deluxe one . The burgers portion is generous. The bun is very soft, beef panties is not dry, and the sauce is really good. Love it.
It is an a must-visit for anyone craving a nice burger experience. The queues move surprisingly fast despite the hype, and the burgers themselves are massive, juicy and packed with flavour – from the classic beef originals to creative veggie and chicken options.nService is efficient and friendly, with staff handling the crowds like pros while keeping smiles on their faces even late into the night. The vibe is casual and buzzing, perfect for grabbing a quick bite after adventure activities or a night out on the town. Portions are generous, so come hungry.nPrices are fair for the size and quality, making it great value compared to other touristy spots. Whether you are a local or just passing through Queenstown, it delivers consistently delicious food that hits the spot every time. Highly recommended
The best burger I think we've ever had. The line is no joke, but it's totally understandable as to why it's as long as it is! In saying that, we were both surprised at how quickly we got to the front to order. The website updating which orders were ready to collect is a great and necessary feature. I do sort of wish there was more seating options, but honestly, with food this good, we sat in a sunny spot and enjoyed the food! Perfect!
If you're in Queenstown, Fergburger is a must. It shows up on every “best places to eat” list, and it really does live up to the hype. Even if you see a crowd outside, don't let that discourage you — the staff are friendly and they turn over orders fast.nnWe visited on a Friday afternoon, and we only waited about 5–10 minutes to order. However, we have heard that waits can be much longer up to an hour during weekends or peak dining times. Seating inside is limited a few barstools and small tables, so many people take their food to-go, but we were able to grab seats at the counter.nnI ordered the Fergburger with double meat two patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, garlic aioli for $21.50 NZD. My wife ordered the Southern Swine beef patty, bacon, same toppings plus avocado for $18.90 NZD, onion rings $9.90 NZD and a hokey pokey milkshake vanilla with honeycomb toffee for $12.20 NZD.nnThe burgers are large, the buns are toasted and hold everything together, and the patties were juicy and flavorful. The onion rings were crispy, and the milkshake was rich and creamy. There’s a tv monitor inside showing when orders are ready, and there’s also a restroom available.nnGreat flavor, big portions, and fast service. Definitely worth stopping by when you’re in Queenstown.
The most overhyped burger place in QT. Waited in queue for 20 min +. Placed an order for a Veg and Bombay Chicken along with onion rings. Placed an order at 1:20 pm and was told 40-45 min wait.nnA QR code is on the receipt to track your order too, so you don't have to wait around. This was good.nnHave added a photo of the queue screen if you may view, the orders made ready are not necessarily in sequence. So people much behind you might get their order before yours.nnOur order finally arrived at 2:35 pm that's 1 hour 10 min wait which is ridiculous.nnAbout the food. The burgers are not a WOW factor. If you think or know your have had good burgers in life, you are not missing out if you don't try this. It may be a one time thing to tick off your bucket list or for photos. We initially thought to go try another variations of food but after this experience, we would rather not, and enjoy our 2 hours elsewhere.nnThe staff is friendly and courteous.nnThere is very limited parking as this is on the main street. Is wheelchair friendly.nnThere is limited place to sit so you may find one, only if lucky.nnIf your number is nearing or close by, you will often find people waiting inside with their ticket numbers asking for their order randomly and the kind staff will try to hook them up with their food. So expect others to get their orders earlier once again.nnCustomers waiting in line to have an experience of the burger gets ruined with the other overall experience they face. Spoke to a few more people waiting outside frustrated with the way this is operated.nnIf owners / management are reading this, please have some order in place to give respect to those customers waiting for so long and spending their precious time and money on their holiday to be a part of your legacy by making and processing orders as per time advised as well as providing them as per their number or give a realistic timeframe atleast.nnHaving worked for years in this industry, I do know for a fact that it's not rocket science to get orders out as per priority.nnLike I said, it's a one time try. Won't try this again to waste time if visiting QT again.nnAll the best to those willing to try this.nnAll the best to the Ferg team. You can do better.
