Definitely worth a try! The burgers have amazing value for money. If the queue isn’t too long, I highly recommend giving it a go. For two girls, I’d suggest sharing one burger — the portion is quite generous. Cod father burger is amazing.
The most famous burger in Queenstown. I spent about 1 hour from joining the line to getting the food, but it was worth tasting at least once. We loved it and would eat it again. I was also impressed by how cheerful the staff were, even with such high demand. Fergbar, right next door, is also amazing, with great food and drinks. Thanks!
If you're in Queenstown, Fergburger is a must. It shows up on every “best places to eat” list, and it really does live up to the hype. Even if you see a crowd outside, don't let that discourage you — the staff are friendly and they turn over orders fast.nnWe visited on a Friday afternoon, and we only waited about 5–10 minutes to order. However, we have heard that waits can be much longer up to an hour during weekends or peak dining times. Seating inside is limited a few barstools and small tables, so many people take their food to-go, but we were able to grab seats at the counter.nnI ordered the Fergburger with double meat two patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, garlic aioli for $21.50 NZD. My wife ordered the Southern Swine beef patty, bacon, same toppings plus avocado for $18.90 NZD, onion rings $9.90 NZD and a hokey pokey milkshake vanilla with honeycomb toffee for $12.20 NZD.nnThe burgers are large, the buns are toasted and hold everything together, and the patties were juicy and flavorful. The onion rings were crispy, and the milkshake was rich and creamy. There’s a tv monitor inside showing when orders are ready, and there’s also a restroom available.nnGreat flavor, big portions, and fast service. Definitely worth stopping by when you’re in Queenstown.
The burger shop is always packed with a long line of people. Luckily the queue went fast, and got an app to notify when burger is ready. It was Sunday nite, twenty five mins in queue and an hour waiting for burger.nnI tried the deluxe one . The burgers portion is generous. The bun is very soft, beef panties is not dry, and the sauce is really good. Love it.
Crazy line but also crazy good burgers. I had the Bombay chicken for dinner since I already had a beef burger earlier in the day. The Bombay chicken hit the spot and was exactly what I wanted. My friends ordered the Ferg deluxe which they loved and the Sweet Venison which was apparently just okay.nnOverall, the line moved fast and the wait for our burger wasn’t too bad. The queue does seem deceptively long.
