Super delighted that this iconic destination has two vegan options. Both of them are amazing. Burgers are very juicy and the flavors are unique. The line can be quite long but luckily they close very late. Hope to see more vegan options to try in the near future! Make sure if you order vegan that the receipt says vegan or they will make it vegetarian instead as that is the default.for the two vegan options.
nFergburger is next-level good! The moment I took my first bite, I was blown away — juicy, flavour-packed beef, soft yet sturdy buns that don’t fall apart, fresh crunchy lettuce, perfectly melted cheese, and sauces that hit all the right notes. Every bite feels like a little firework for your taste buds.nThe portions are huge, but the price is surprisingly reasonable. For this quality and size, you’d easily pay double elsewhere. Here, you get a burger that’s both premium and affordable — absolute win.nYes, there’s a line, but it moves quickly. And honestly, the second you get your burger, you forget you even waited. I told myself I’d eat slowly… but nope, I couldn’t stop. By the time I was halfway through, I was already planning what I’d order next time.nIf you’re in Queenstown, skipping Fergburger is basically a crime. My only regret? Not jumping straight back in line for another one right after I finished.
After ordering, scan the QR code. The website will tell you when your burger is ready. The wait won’t be too long, generally about 15 minutes. It is really nice that you can know when to come back for the food. As a person who likes to eat burgers, I’ve tried the Fergburger with and without double cheese, Ferg deluxe, and little lamby. They were nice and big with crispy bacon, flavorful BBQ sauce, and sweet onions. They were just slightly better than what I had before.nBut after I had the “BIG AL” It is a 5 star for sure!nSignificantly larger than the other burgers, the double prime beef was juicier, more sauce means more goodness, the egg yolk bursts out as you take the bite, and the beet root finishes it with a sweet touch! It was amazing!nAnd it is so big that I nearly got a jaw dislocation eating it!
I had read so many great reviews about Fergburger and had really high expectations going into my Queenstown trip. I finally got the chance to try it today, and I have to say — the burgers definitely live up to the hype. They were juicy, generous in size, and full of flavour. I ordered two regular ones: one with cheddar cheese and one with Swiss cheese, and both were excellent.nnI also tried the onion rings and fries, which were honestly just average and nothing special. I’d recommend coming here purely for the burgers.nnBe prepared to queue — this place is super popular and always buzzing with people!
I love this burger so much! It truly lives up to its title as the number one burger. I know there are great burgers everywhere, especially in New Zealand, Australia, or rest of the world. But this one really stood out to me.nnI first tried it a year ago when I travelled to Queenstown from Australia, and I still miss the taste — the sauce, the beef, the pickles, the bread… everything was just so well balanced and delicious. Some Australian reviewers said they were disappointed because the style is similar to what we have back here, but personally, I found it unique and memorable.nnThe store was super, super packed, which shows how popular it is. I think there’s an option to order online and pick up from a separate window, but I’m not 100% sure — we didn’t have time to go back again during our short trip.nnIf you’re in Queenstown, this burger is definitely worth trying!
