Ok believe the hype … Fergbaker is OUTSTANDING. We had 2 x pies for lunch and they were easily THE BEST PIES we have ever had eaten in our lives. Steak and cheese had large chunks of beef and perfectly seasoned gravy. The chilli steak & cheese pie was also incredible, interesting ingredients but perfectly balanced. The pastry is just as much of a stand out ingredient, incredibly flaky and delicious!
Holy moly were the pies good!!! When people say it’s life changing please believe them. They were the best pies we’ve ever had, so good that we went back every single day to try different pies for 5 days straight. I personally would recommend the Ferg signature, the beef and blue cheese, and the venison and portobello mushroom pies. The tarts were also magnificent. Please try as many items as you can because they are all just THAT good.
Great selections of pies and pastries to curb the hunger. I tried the steak, mushroom and cheese pie and it was decent. The ladies at the front at the time were very friendly and helpful with assisting us with selecting our food. Although Fergburger is next door, this didnt affect the lines at the bakery next door as this was the only thing I was anticipating. Overall was a good experience!
A very popular bakery in Queenstown with a huge variety of pastries and baked goods. The place was so busy when we visited that we had to wait in line.nnWe tried their pies, which were a little pricey, but definitely worth it because they were really delicious. They’re also well known for their Belgian hot chocolate and croissants, although I haven’t tried those yet.nnThe space is a bit small, but it smells amazing from all the fresh baking and the interior is nicely decorated. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Queenstown.
Loved it so much that we had multiple meals from here. Will definitely visit again.nnTried various pies, including the ferg, mince and cheese, lamb, blue cheese, bacon cheddar and the sausage roll. They also have a good variety of desserts like apple pie, cream donuts, eclairs and cheesecakes.
