The chocolate almond croissant is just amazing!! So full filling and satisfying. The mini tarts are fresh and not too sweet, which I love. Carrot cake is a bit sweet for me. The pies are nicely made. You can feel that they bake with love.
We stopped by this spot for breakfast during our vacation in Queenstown. Despite the bustling atmosphere and long queue, the service was surprisingly quick. We opted for the Red capsicum croissant sandwich, Boston cream donut, and chocolate croissants for takeaway. The croissant sandwich was simply delightful, easily one of the best breakfasts I've had in NZ. The chocolate croissant was wonderfully soft and flaky with a generous chocolate filling, while the Boston cream donut was also enjoyable. I recommend visiting this place early in the morning to beat the fairly long queues.
We had the steak and cheese pie… twice! Probably the best pies I have ever eaten. Tender meat chunks and no gristle with quality pastry holding it altogether. The apple pie is traditional and delicious although could have been heated a bit more. Still phenomenal!
They offer a variety of baked goods that are really good, including cream donuts and almond croissants. But my absolute favourite would be their chocolate eclairs. This eclair has brought me back to Queenstown for countless times, just so I could have a taste of it again. Melted chocolate coated on top, with amazingly smooth chocolate filling on the inside, the pastry was thin, holding a generous amount of filling inside. It was out of this world. It was my absolute favourite pastry ever, but everyone has different tastes. If you like chocolate, you can give it a try.
Bronagh and Robin is definitely out of the top and represent the New Zealand culture and spirit so well.nThey are super friendly and I made my day, I was travelling alone Sadly , but they made me felt I have my friend here.nDefinitely great place to visit again
