Back again for 2 more pies. Husband loved the lamb shank. I had pork belly but felt it lacked flavour. This time another lamb shank and a venison and mushroom.. no queue so straight in. Good service.
We had the bacon and egg pie by the waterfront. It was delicious and well filled with both bacon and egg. We didn't find the pulled pork pie as tasty, due to less pork and more sauce in the pie, so didn't really taste like pulled pork. The dessert caramel éclair was amazing. Would still go back next time!
The pastrami bagel is one of the tastiest things I have ever tasted. There's a reason people queue outside.
Not bad. Not many places in New Zealand may have the right of being called "bakery", but this has. Bread and pastry are really good. 1 con, the chocolate: way too expansive. Recommended
The best pie venison and lemon meringue pie I've ever had. The other options looked delicious too, and everything is baked fresh throughout the day. It's not pricey at all considering the quality, and the long opening hours alongside the excellent customer service easily makes this bakery worth visiting repeatedly.
I loved this bakery. Delicious pies, sausage rolls, cookies, dounuts and opened until 2am in the morning. Staff were friendly and helpful even when it's really busy and the prices are too bad either.
