WHO ARE WE
Feilding Brass is a C grade Brass Band based in Feilding, New Zealand. Our goals are to serve and entertain our community, while challenging ourselves, and enjoying ourselves.
The band performs at regional and national contests, at concerts, in community events, and with community groups for a total of 10-20 gigs per year. Our repertoire is wide and draws from genres including pop/rock, swing, cinema, classical, modern original brass band compositions, as well as more traditional brass band material like marches and hymns.
The band rehearses most Wednesday evenings at Council Place, Feilding.
Our learners start at training band which provides tuition and a small band setting to develop fledgling brass and percussion players of all ages. Training band perform 1-3 gigs a year and rehearse on Monday at 7pm during school term time.
