Warm decor with great atmosphere. The food was delicious, I had the chicken salad which was really tasty and a large serving, my friend had pasta of the day which was creamy and great flavour of bacon. This was topped off with chocolate brownie, totally Devine. The service was really good even with them being understaffed. Highly recommend.
Real good restaurant. Every main dish for lunch is above 23$,by 6/Aug/2022 the day I dined in. Parking would be the only issue. Log burner inside which is a real plus. Customer service was lovely. Some upgrade on toilets would be better to match the setup inside. Nice lightings and presentation. You would love there. Some more options for the main menu would be great. Food was tasty. But to me as someone in food industry, it felt like some MSG is being added.
1st time in Oamaru, based on reviews we went there. Dog friendly , fantastic feed for the $ had to ask for a doggy bag . Staff friendly and helpful. Please take note i was not able to take photo's inside as i had a little woof woof with me . But I'm sure it would have been great
Enjoyed a lovely late lunch here. Service was friendly and food was delicious. We were all happy with our meals. Would definitely recommend it.
Ribeye great but the cooks mixed up topping with husband meal. Staff busy eating and talking on phone or together. Hello.. We finish our wine a while ago.. Hello..Food: 5/5
Amazing customer service, staff so friendly and attentive! The food was delicious and very generous portions. The sticky date pudding was the best dessert we've had in a long time! The caramel sauce was divine! Thoroughly recommend this place!
We came for dinner on a Thursday evening while we were travelling to a funeral in Dunedin. The weather had suddenly changed from autumn to winter and the pub/ restaurant was busy without being frantic. I had the blue cod and my better half had the steak and both of us were very happy. The wait staff were very helpful and friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit for a very good pub meal in Oamaru.
We were looking for somewhere with a lovely atmosphere where my friends and I could talk, have great food and a lovely night ... We found it at Fat Sally's. I highly recommend the Sal Royale off the menu, absolutely delicious with very generous helpings of chicken and brie. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend you go there if you are looking for a great meal and night out
