The Whitebait Pizza lived up to the hype — it was unlike any pizza we’ve had before, a true West Coast experience. The crispy, golden crust provided the perfect base for the delicate flavor of the whitebait, and it was topped with just the right amount of seasoning to enhance the fish without overpowering it. It felt both simple and sophisticated, a perfect tribute to local ingredients.nnThe second pizza was equally impressive, with fresh toppings and a well-balanced flavor. The crust was thin and crisp but held the toppings without becoming soggy, a mark of a well-made pizza. We saw this place on Google Maps while we were in the Netherlands and we thought 'we must go there'. Did not dissapoint and our belly's are filled fat with PiPi Pizza.nAlso the owner is a very nice and helpfull guy!
Fat Pipi Pizza is a classic in Hokitika! The pizzas are always great and the atmosphere here is the perfect place for a pizza, there is also a cute outdoor area which is perfect in the summer!
The food is great, their pizzas are amazing, but the atmosphere is nothing like they make it seem on the website. People were searching for places to sit, it took a very long time for orders to be ready. Once you got the food, it was good, but everything else wasn't really special.
The staff are nice, but this is one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. It tasted stale. The dough was like cardboard. There was no tomato sauce. The toppings tasted old. Not sure if the cheese was real. Just terrible! It was such a disappointment to have paid over $50 for 2 almost inedible pizzas. It also took ages for them to make it, we waited almost an hour. Do NOT go here.
