Beautiful wee spot for a lovely bite to eat. They also have some house/kitchen goodies and gifts which are a great selection.nWe had a lovely brunch, hubby thought the coffee was excellent and we both had a delicious meal.nI was super impressed they have a separate gf cabinet which has lots of choices. They did a to go for me for lunch for later in the day which was delicious.nThanks, extremely nice spot, well worth a visit.
A lovely café with friendly staff and a great selection of items. We tried something from the menu, and while the food was tasty, the sourdough bread was a bit too tough to chew. The café wasn't very busy, but a few tables still had plates from previous customers. Overall, a pleasant experience.
Stopped here for brunch. The store wasn't very busy at that time, with only a few customers. I had the Buttermilk Chicken Taco, but couldn't finish it.nnThe buttermilk chicken was clearly overcooked; it had been completely dried out. The chipotle slaw was bland with too much dressing; it was soaking wet. The ratio of slaw, chicken, and salsa was unbalanced, with too much slaw, 4 tiny pieces of dry chicken, and maybe 1 or 2 tbsp of salsa.nnFor $24.00, it was definitely overpriced. I left feeling like I paid $20.00 for the soggy slaw alone.nnThe staff was friendly and the service was quick, though. However, I will neither come back again nor recommend them to my friends.
Great stop after exploring the Glowworm caves or if you have other activates after a good place to stop by to have lunch or brunch. Its nearby the Glowworm caves about 10 - 20 minutes drive and if you are doing more activates at the glowworm caves again you can just drive right back there easily.
A quirky little cafe with a great menu selection and even a shop. Staff were lovely, and there was plenty of space to sit and eat. We ordered coffee, cheesecake, and a Caesar salad from the cabinet. Top marks for the coffee and cheesecake, but the salad was a but disappointing. It didn't have much protein in it, the croutons were soggy, and it resembled more lettuce leaves with a bit of dressing than the Caesar salad it promised. It wasn't the cheapest either around $17, which for that price, you'd expect a bit more. I would, however, visit again and like to try more of their vast menu as the cafe had a great atmosphere.
