My local Farmers store is Silverdale. All the staff are great but especially Rochelle in the cosmetic department. Last week I went into the store and realized I had left something I needed at homenInstead of me having to return to the store later Rochelle came to my assistance and completed my purchase. Rochelle is extremely helpful, efficient and empathetic. I would love for her to be recognized for showcasing the greatness of the Silverdale store. Thank you once again Rochelle.nRegards Nan

Farmers Pukekohe – Unprofessional Manager BehaviournI was treated in a dismissive and aggressive manner by the store manager, Ms Karen Campbell, after politely asking for two bags to separate gift items. I was followed around the store and spoken to disrespectfully at checkout in front of other customers, which was humiliating.nnWhen I said I would make a complaint, her response was, “I don’t care.” I do not believe this behaviour reflects someone deserving of a manager role anywhere.nnI hope Farmers reviews this incident and takes appropriate action.

Horrific customer service for a faulty product at Manukau Farmers. The staff are clearly trained to treat everyone as liars and fraudsters. We tried to return a faulty Kambrook Scandi kettle that was only 3 months old. It had developed a fault with the auto opening lid, firstly not shutting properly, then sticking and not opening and eventually popping open during boiling so the auto shut off feature was disabled. A clear safety issue when the kettle won't stop boiling and you're out of the room. The staff member rudely fobbed off my elderly father, so I was required to intervene on his behalf. The staff member said because it was evening time and they couldn't phone the supplier there was nothing they could do. I told them the product is faulty, we had the receipt, the product comes with a 1yr warranty and the product was only 3mths old. She actually went off to test it herself before acknowledging that yes it was faulty and proceeded laboriously to process a replacement, which took 2 other staff to assist. The whole ordeal took almost 45 minutes. The treatment this whole time was condescending, rude and ultimately insulting. Having shopped at Farmers for years it was a real shock to witness how badly staff are clearly trained to treat paying customers presenting with a faulty product. I won't be shopping with Farmers again.
