Some friends and I had lunch here yesterday, generally we had an enjoyable time the food was tasty and well presented, there was a good choice. however we did have one or two problems; first of all was the menu, or should I say menus. There was an a la carte type menu which we first looked at, then we noticed a bar lunch menu which we discovered was not available on Sunday Why? We never found out and there was a small chalk board on the bar with the chief's special on it. It was a bit confusing to simple folk like us. Three of us received our order quite quickly. However the forth member of the group had to go and chase up her order, apparently the chit had been hidden behind another and had not been processed. The mistake was quickly remedied, and extra food was brought to the table by way of compensation. the staff were kind and sympathetic through out. I would still recommend giving Fairweather's a try it has a good friendly atmosphere and the food is good and tasty.
We visit here most times we're in Blenheim because of inexpensive meals, good wine and food service. This latest trip was no different. It was Sunday late, and service from Kim was marvellous. Burger special $15 was fantastic and we both enjoyed our time there.nWill be back...
First time here. Food around the table looked good. Pasta looked good, steak looked good but abit small. I got the buttermilk chicken burger with chips. 1 small tomato, 1 small chicken bit, not happy about it. 8 of use are going else where to get more food, its good but portion size is small. Not worth the $28. Better food and price else where.
NOT RECOMMEND. Waited for nearly 2 hours and still got cold food. Ordered dessert but was told the kitchen was closed and didn't get it.
Veg spaghetti and veg meals for kids was divine. The manager was so friendly and kind towards my kids.It was our first time and will be back soon.
