Fairlie is known for having some of the best pies in New Zealand, and now I understand why. The pies are so good and there are plenty of flavors to choose from.nnI heard the pork pie is one of the favorites, but this time I went with the smoked chicken and mushroom—and it was delicious. They don’t only serve pies; you can also grab coffee, ice cream, and other pastries.nnDefinitely worth stopping by if you’re passing through the area.
Great pies - we went here 3 times during our time in NZ. The vegan pie was delicious with super flaky pastry. Didn’t love the salmon pie, too cheesy and creamy for my liking.
A very popular bakery shop in Fairlie. We came in the morning and it was packed with people, with a long queue, but it moved very quickly. Despite the crowd, there is ample seating space, although it seems most people prefer takeaway.nnWe tried their pies and one bread, and it was really good. I have given many 5-star reviews during my New Zealand trip, but I think this deserves even more than 5 stars. Definitely worth a stopover if you are nearby.
On my tour threw NZ I tried to try as many pies as possible and Fairlie was a big recommendation I got.nNot disappointed, the pies were great!nI had two pies for the day and a dessert for later. I got the blueberry chocolate muffin, for my taste it could have mir chocolate, it only has chocolate peaces on top and not inside. The coffee I had in house was beautiful, latte art perfect and the flavor really good.nThx for that experience, will come back if I‘m back in NZ
Best pies ever! We tried apple and pork, venison cranberry and steak and cheese. So much flavour and the pastry was perfectly flakey.
