Fabric by Three is a hand-dyeing collective making fabric for use in quilts and similar applications. We are based in Waikanae, on the Kapiti Coast, New Zealand

Story

We produce mainly hand-dyed fabric as well as a range of unique sun-printed pieces, which are hand-painted and dried in the sun.

All our fabrics are suitable for making quilts and similar purposes.

We have a full range of graduated set of fabric, available in fat quarters, half metres and metres. Larger sizes are available on request.

We have an growing range of kit-sets, patterns, stencils and other interesting notions. many of these are not often stocked elsewhere.

Fantastic shop with a lovely selection of dressmaking and other fabrics. Haberdashery choice was very impressive as well as the lovely sewing machine pin cushions couldn't resist. I found this treasure trove while on holiday in the area and discovered they are on line too. Staff are just lovely. Such a lovely find.

Bought material here for boat and van sofa cushions, all nice material and LOTS of choice. What did let then down was after sales when we were initially sold very thin and flimsy zips, had to go back and upgrade to more bulky zips because we're going to sleep on these cushions and they'll pop. Weren't inter tested in having the thin zips back, nothing wrong with them, so had to buy again. Be sure about what you're buying because you'll not get much help afterwards.
Absolutely unbelievable shop , they have everything you need for sewing. The fabric prices are very competitive and there is a fantastic selection. Service is top quality . Do go it’s a wonderful experience

We visited here because my Mum had seen fabric she wanted drove from Bury for her birthday. We had our daughters worth us and the woman in there wasn't impressed that we had them in the shop, despite them behaving very well. That aside, they were helpful to my Mum and they're well stocked and well priced.
Ordered online due to lockdown and got it delivered the next day due to being local. I would definitely recommend this place for any of your fabric needs, they have a great selection online and even more in store. Thank you for the quick and great service!
