Viking is an excellent escape room in the most beautiful countryside location [on a farm!] of any room that any of us have ever done 150+ rooms. Such clever use of space and tech to make the room so much bigger than it actually is. Well worth the trip out of Manchester. Definitely coming back to try out their other two rooms, all designed, built and run by the owner.
Great escape room, it was nice to have 90 minutes. Some good clues and secrets revealed. Very friendly and helpful staff, gave just enough clues. Lovely venue with great scenic views and clean facilities. Would highly recommend and going to try the other 2 rooms.
We did the Viking room and had a great time. The puzzles are at just the right level - nothing is too easy but it’s not impossible either. We loved the surprises! The recommended age is 14 and over. We took a 12 year old who regularly plays D&D and he really enjoyed it, but I’d say age 14 is about right for kids who aren’t into that kind of game.
My partner, his sister and I came from the Netherlands for a holiday and to see my home country. I've heard lots about Extreme Escape and have been wanting to come for a few years. We chose the Viking room and I can say hands down it is the best escape room I've ever done! Jess and Graham were very accommodating for us and so welcoming. The room was really immersive and the puzzles were a good challenge and very creative! We will definitely be back and might even make the trip from the Netherlands especially for another game or two here!
I cannot recommend Extremescape enough! We came to celebrate a birthday and what a day of fun we had. We were looked after so very well by our two hosts and their rooms are just AMAZING. Super immersive, creative and just the right level of challenge. We played the Pirate game, the Viking game and the Christmas game. They were ALL superb, all three had a variety of puzzles and the puzzles were really satisfying to solve. There were humourous elements to the games too which added even more to the overall experience, and some proper WOW factors I've never seen in escape rooms before. A must-visit for escape room fans - we will definitely be coming again. Thank you so much for having us!
We did the Pirate Ship as our first ever escape room experience, really good fun but alot harder than we expected, luckily we got lots of clues so we did escape in the 90 mins allocated. Would highly recommend and would love to do the other rooms at some point. Really helpful and friendly staff who walked us through everything before we started so we knew what to expect. Thank you.
Highly recommended!!! Spacious rooms, fab interior design and decorations, get a feeling of being truly emersed in another world, brain-tastic games and code to break. Great location site and extremely friendly staff members. Superb experience. Would definitely be back to complete the other two rooms for a full house. JDNJ
Fabulous escape rooms. Some of my favourite in the country. Lots of love, care and skill has gone into building these and you can tell. Lovely family run business.
This was an excellent escape room, we came to play the other day and tried three of their rooms. All of them were excellent, my personal favourite being the Viking room which featured some really excellent puzzles and some mechanics that I'd never seen before. I look forward to coming back again in the future. A must-visit for escape room fans. Thank you so much for having us!
This is a fantastic escape game. Independently run and brilliantly presented. We did the Viking game today and it is amazing. Great story, great puzzles and props. Highly recommended.
