This tour surpassed expectations. Great fun, lovely team, amazing wine! Even at the start of the season with the weather not being the best it didn’t matter as was still good fun. Only had to buy lunch and afternoon wine tasting additionally, still overall felt good value for money. Doesn’t take long to feel a little tipsy so make sure you leave plenty of time for cycling back. Helpful pick up and drop off. Thank you team
We choose the 3 hour self guided e-bike option to explore the Marlborough wineries.nTaylor gave us an overview of the road rules and bikes, then offered suggestions of bike routes together with dining/tasting options.nOur bikes were in great condition, no hassles.nNothing was too much trouble.nThanks for a memorable experience Marlborough Wine Tours.
We did the half day wine tour, which means you pick up a bike around 1pm and return by 5pm. All the wineries close at 4:30pm, so it's not a ton of time to bike/drink just as a warning. You also have to bike a bit on the main road, which was why I deducted a star. BUT, overall this was a LOVELY afternoon of wineries and biking. This is MUCH easier than one in the southern part of the island. It's flat, you do get a bike path, and the wineries are LOVELY. There are some great places to eat as well. I highly recommend this for people of all abilities.
We had an incredible experience with Explore Marlborough today. Cat was a pleasure to interact with and the day was unforgettable. I would highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a fun day out in Marlborough and wants to explore the vineyards. They recommended some really nice places to visit and the cycle was enjoyable for all fitness levels. Highly recommend booking with Explore Marlborough for a fun day out!
Loved our day out on e bikes exploring the local vineyards, Taylor picked us up, gave us heaps of good advice, and dropped us home again at the end of the day!nDon’t be put off by a bit of drizzle either, the e-bikes are fast, the roads are flat, and the winery staff are all super welcoming- heaps of the cellar doors have fireplaces too so you can dry off in between rides. Can’t wait to come back :
