I highly recommend Richard - my daughter passed first time after only 15 hours of lessons. She was highly complementary - no mean feat from a teenager! He instilled her with lots of confidence and she throughly enjoyed her lessons.
I am learning with Aiden and I can’t say a bad thing about him! He’s made me so comfortable and confident on the road and is always so helpful and supportive when ever you’re stuck and is so relaxed! He has helped me so much and I am ever so grateful and couldn’t recommend a better instructor than him!!
Couldn't recommend excel more.. Natalie was absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable from day one. I passed my test first time yesterday after only 29 hours! I will be recommending Natalie to everyone
Richard is an excellent instructor, very friendly and he puts you at ease. In a league of his own, no instructor is as thorough and placid as him, all round fantastic instructor who is exceptional at what he does.
Richard @ Excel has been fabulous. Having started with a different instructor who let us down far too often Rich has been amazing. He filled our son with confidence which he was seriously lacking and he came on so fast. First time pass with lessons to spare!. The way the students can book and manage lessons on the app is really handy. 100% recommended.

I would highly recommend Richard at Excel. Having been let down by an intensive driving company, I contacted Richard to see if he could help. Straight away, he was extremely helpful, communicative and went out of his way to help my daughter get the lessons that she needed to have booked in before her test. He is such a kind, genuine and caring person as well as being a very good driving instructor who explains things very clearly. The app that he uses is great for letting students know exactly what they still need to focus on. He was always reliable, on time and very professional. I am so glad we found him. Richard has done a great job in not only helping me pass my driving test but also preparing me for independent driving. He has a very relaxed style of teaching which works well for driving as it allows you to stay calm and focused whilst also allowing you to learn all that is required to be a safe driver. If you're learning to drive I would recommend Excel Driver Training as you get an experienced instructor and get to drive a car with all the bells and whistles.
Aiden was a very good teacher and gave me lots of confidence with my driving. Helped to make sure I was ready for my test and meant I could pass my test first time. Very good teaching, very understanding of any problems that may prevent you from having lessons
