We care about the suffering that some Kiwis experience during their lives and as they approach death. However, we are convinced that legal assisted suicide ('assisted dying') would be dangerous to society, regardless of how such a law is written.

We support the expansion and increased accessibility of care and treatment options for all New Zealanders, without the legalisation of assisted suicide and voluntary euthanasia ("assisted dying"), Such a law would put vulnerable people at risk and have negative unintended consequences for society. Mission

We inform the public and stimulate informed debate about the wider negative implications of legislation that allows one person to be involved in deliberately ending someone else's life (assisted suicide). We believe that legal assisted suicide would undermine suicide prevention.
