We've recently installed the Escea DFS740, the unit itself is stunning and works perfectly! A huge thank you to Carlos from the technical team, as we installed the fireplace ontop of a drawer unit several red lights from the control unit were visible from the sofa. Carlos made sure with a firm update to reduce the brightness of the lights, which helped. Furthermore, he fabricated a panel and sent it across which I was easily able to fit myself. This eliminated all visible lights. After mentioning on a seperate occasion there was a slight draft coming from the shaft where it meets the ceiling, Carlos immediately sent over two small panels to fit between the cover and the ceiling, significantly reducing he draft. Overall, great quality fire place, which looks absolutely stunning with incredible after sales service!
We've had a nightmare experience with our T1000, plagued by endless issues despite replacement. The product's design flaws and engineering faults seem insurmountable. To make matters worse, ESCEA's customer service has been abysmal, mirroring the poor quality of their products. Highly encourage to shop elsewhere
Will not download the app as you are requesting a prior login to another platform. Not going to happen. Make the app a single sign in. Please. In the meantime we will exercise the fires capabilities by turning it on and off. Btw, that switch works via a very poor screen sensor. You have to repeat the simple operation several times using unknown pressure to make it respond. Having to 'flip' the unit every few seconds is also very sub-optimum. Do write another line of code that least reduces the screen off mode time to manifest ever 3 mins. Not every 3 seconds. Quite absurd. It also needs a battery icon so that charging is not guess work. Other than this fIre works. Beautifully. Fan is too loud, but that is no doubt related to maximize functionality.
What great service from Escea. Need to replace the fibreglass seal around your gas fire? - then these are the people to help. One call and the goods are being shipped same day. Thanks Steve
Moved into my new house with Escea Gas Fire, didn't need to use the fire till the winter, turns out it wouldn't start. I got in contact with Escea regarding my problem they were immediate in helping me resolve the issues, they sent me details of my local repairers, they were extremely helpful when diagnosing the problems, we received multiple call backs from Escea technical help late at night and one guy was even travelling interstate when he called me back, then when new parts were required they were dispatched with efficiency speeding up the whole process. I couldn't thank the Escea guys enough they do a great job and recommend you use them if needed, the service was excellent !nThanks again Escea..
