Ashton from Escea was extremely helpful and very responsive to our problem. He quickly identified the issue with our gas fireplace and organised Michael, a gas technician, who arrived a day later. He was excellent, extremely professional, very helpful and customer friendly. We would highly recommend Escea Fireplace Company.
Escea is an awesome NZ brand - we put in a DX1500 that ducts warmth throughout our old villa. The fire is a beautiful focal feature of the lounge and functions as central heating. The team at Escea are great to work with - and its comforting to know you have local support for what is a high tech appliance.
We've recently installed the Escea DFS740, the unit itself is stunning and works perfectly! A huge thank you to Carlos from the technical team, as we installed the fireplace ontop of a drawer unit several red lights from the control unit were visible from the sofa. Carlos made sure with a firm update to reduce the brightness of the lights, which helped. Furthermore, he fabricated a panel and sent it across which I was easily able to fit myself. This eliminated all visible lights. After mentioning on a seperate occasion there was a slight draft coming from the shaft where it meets the ceiling, Carlos immediately sent over two small panels to fit between the cover and the ceiling, significantly reducing he draft. Overall, great quality fire place, which looks absolutely stunning with incredible after sales service!
We've had a nightmare experience with our T1000, plagued by endless issues despite replacement. The product's design flaws and engineering faults seem insurmountable. To make matters worse, ESCEA's customer service has been abysmal, mirroring the poor quality of their products. Highly encourage to shop elsewhere
