Great experience, after you have done one room you want to do them all! Will definitely be coming back for more and try to get a few records broken. The only reason I am not rating it 5 stars is because the building entrance has no clear signs, the entrance was also under construction at the time and we doubted if we were in the right place until we found the correct entrance.
Amazing place, Had a ton of fun here. I've been here around 5 times now, And I enjoyed every single one of them. The staff is very nice and straight forward. I would recommend this to anyone.
Made two bookings - the bank heist and the spy - and boy were they fun! Cleverly designed rooms that felt challenging but not overwhelming, and friendly staff too. Will be back to do another one soon!
Group of three did the Spy room at medium difficulty. My partner and I have done many escape rooms, both in NZ and USA. We were very disappointed. There was very little flow from clue to clue; more like a collection of short one-off puzzles rather than a trail of breadcrumbs. We experienced functionality issues with things opening smoothly instructions explicitly say to be gentle and use critical thinking over physically, so we didn't wanna break things, lol. Also, scanning QR codes to get hints and "this section is for Hard level" signs on the walls next to puzzles REALLY break the immersion. :- However, our biggest complaint was the massive number of red herrings. Many were unnecessary props SUPER cheap looking and others were especially made "clues" that never led to anything and at times directly clashed with the logic / theme. Either the designers think that red herrings & distractions are how you make a puzzle challenging/clever it's not OR these were possibly all meant to be used for solving the higher difficulty version of the room if so, REMOVE THEM DURING SETUP! Honestly, one of the two stars are cuz it's such an affordable price. Maybe other rooms here are better, but I think the fault lies in trying to have multiple difficulties per room. I'd sooner try a different company in Auckland, certainly can't recommend the Spy room.
Great fun. We have done a couple of escape rooms and bank heist was fun. The kids were able to really get stuck in and contribute which made it fun for us all. Pro tip, the mannequins arm falls off when you frisk him causing loads of laughter. Definitely good fun and we are going to do a few more. Lovely staff who really must have spent most of the time laughing at us failing. Good times
The themes were pretty good for such competitive price. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. We did the alien invasion and totally enjoyed it. Great spot to challenge your brain and spend quality time with your friends and family.
Staff friendly but room could have been better prepared. Computer logged into, key that worked and only had 5 bank notes not 6. Looked tired
So many themes to choose from we needed to decide in more than 5 minutes. In the end, we went with the alien theme and definitely wasn’t disappointed. The flow of the clues and the placing of keys and locks were meticulous. We had fun!
We did the haunted motel and it was the best escape room I’ve done by far - super friendly and helpful staff as well
Love this place! An awesome, mentally challenging adventure every time with lovely staff.
