First time experiencing an Escape room in our 50’s and 60’s and we had lots of laughs! On reflection we should have done a bit more research and booked the easiest room then worked our way up as we were woefully underprepared and didn’t understand how to proceed - but that too was very funny and we did learn and improve! Great staff and well set up - felt very safe and supported along with stimulated, curious and challenged. Thank you Lara in particular, your welcoming and reassurance and communications were outstanding. Will definitely go again!
We had done several rooms last year and came back to see that they got a new room. The start was challenging as we did not find all the clues our fault, but after that it had a great flow and the puzzles made sense and were a lot of fun. Made it out with 10 minutes to spare.
Went to Escape HQ for my Daughters 7th bday. We were 5 adults and 1 child. We selected Backstage pass room. We all really enjoyed our time their. It was fun bonding time for us. We could ask for unlimited clues which we tried not to use many. First we thought it was only 1 room but once we got through stage 1 we were in part 2 of the room which really excited us. Staff were friendly and helpful. The vibe and décor if the place was great. I highly recommend it. They had props at the reception to use for team photos, which we really liked as well. Overall it was 5/5 star experience. I would go again and select different rooms.
We had my 10 year old son's party at Escape HQ Takapuna today. The kids had a blast and everything was easy and stress-free. The staff were very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Highly recommend!!
Haven’t done an escape room activity since pandemic. Yesterday was reminded how fun it was at EscapeHQ and I actually felt quite relaxed working with friends solving the puzzles instead of feeling any stress with the time ticking. Definitely interesting and a great activity to do with friends.
My kids and I went to "Backstage Pass" with some friends and we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. We had a blast working together to solve the clues and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We are definitely planning on returning in the future.
I talked to a lady on the phone who matched my vibe completely. She should be given a pay rise immediately. 10/10 service. Splendid. Would call again just for chats
The Mountain Blizzard escape room was very interesting and atmospheric, with mysterious and dangerous vibes, intricate & detailed decorations and props, and a fun variety of clues. Really enjoyed our experience.
We recently had our son's 10th birthday party here and Kids absolutely loved it. Premises was really clean and tidy. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely visit again
We had such a great time trying to crack the room we had....it was really hard. But a great family activity with lots of laughs and excitement when we managed to get a clue! We'll be back!! Thank you
