Couldn’t resist getting the 18-inch despite the fact that there were only two of us ordering… YUM YUM YUM! Deliciously crispy base with a lovely savoury flavour, a couple of charred patches with gorgeous crunch, and of course that cheesy perfection. Highly recommend for those craving a NY pizza fix!
I seriously LOVE Epolito's Tash and Gabriel are the most beautiful people and they transmit it to their pizzas Very tasteful and great portions. We usually go for The Cabby, it is our favourite
Been in NZ for more than 20 years and was in the NY and Philly before that. Pizzas in AKL have mostly been disappointing until I randomly tried Epolito’s. The crust was perfect! The sausages bring back NYC memories! And the XL size was really XL! I’m even having leftovers for breakfast and I’m still very happy with it. Hope you stat true with proper pizza making!
Outstanding busy local pizza bar, friendly helpful staff , but the pizza....was incredible. I was lucky enough to stop in and see slices for sale,$5 a slice, got it reheated in oven Could not wait to bite in to the perfect looking pizza, and.... the taste explosion crunch of the base, not overly sweet tomatoes, delicious cheese, not salty I am lost for words, I have been craving New your style pizza for years. Now I have found it. Must eat if you need your cravings satisfied.⁰,
Great pizzas made to order, in very friendly atmosphere owner operated, from Brazil. Making perfect pizzas is his route to self-satisfaction. Bar staff Tash is yet another draw card. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
I ordered the 'On Madison' pizza through Uber eats, but it when it arrived it was far too salty to eat and I'm a fan of salty pizza toppings, just a few bites and you had to drink something to take the taste away. It was really disappointing because everything appeared to be high quality, and we had been looking forward to trying their pizza. It's supposed to be a pretty salty pizza with olives and feta, but we tasted each item separately and they tasted normal. It took awhile as it was the least likely culprit, but we worked out it was the roasted garlic. It tasted like someone had dumped cups of salt over it while it was roasting. I'm hoping it was just that batch because only a small amount had tainted the entire pizza enough to make it inedible.
Always great. Believe in your self and go get a pizza from this place as soon as it opens. Best value pizza for its quality and size. Literally felt like telling all Sal’s pizza stores to get a life with their prices after eating here. Always ask for extra Parmesan because in life we can always do with a bit of extra Parmesan
Excellent, succulent, big boi pizzas. Consistant with great service and quality of food. The pizzas take their time but are worth every ounce of patience. The restaurant has a nice laid back charm and social atmosphere. A true Auckland gem
Was really hyped to visit, and we walked-in on Friday evening for a feed. Good location, friendly staff and they were crazy busy with fulfilling orders - mainly takeaways. It took 45 minutes from ordering to being served - which was understandable but still, insane wait time. They don't have appetizers either, so... I was starving! And the aroma really wasn't helping :D That being said, it was worth it... we went with the two most opposite House pizzas; Bianca was INCREDIBLE. One of the simplest pizzas, vegetarian and just heavenly. Especially after the wait, it really hit the spot! The Godfather, which is the one with basically every topping they have/ full of meat was also really good! Fresh, delicious and quality ingredients. I was so eager and it was so tasty, I burnt every part of the inside of my mouth and that didn't stop me from scoffing down every last bit! Still thinking about the Bianca pizza and I'll definitely be returning :
My favorite pizzas from my favorite Pizzaria in the world of Grey Lynn Our first table full of Epolito's since Lockdown. I like other pizza too. But Epolito's is my favorite and the one I'd choose if I was allowed only one pizza.
