They weighed it — but here’s the kicker: they’ve got a minimum weight charge, so even if your item’s light, you pay like you’re dropping off a fridge. It’s a scam dressed up as policy.nnThe yard? A tyre killer. I left with a puncture, thanks to the mess they call a drop-off zone. Nails, rubble, zero maintenance. No warning signs, no accountability. Staff? Cold, robotic, couldn’t care less. No help, no explanation — just “that’s the price.”nnThis place bleeds you dry for trying to do the right thing. Recycling? More like extortion. You pay top dollar, get bottom-tier service, and risk damage just for showing up.
We came with a trailer that had both green waste and hardfill, we had to empty our green waste first and pay but coming back on the weighbridge we weighed ten kgs more than we did leaving less than ten seconds prior meaning we paid for an extra 10kgs of waste. Then had to wait for over twenty mins while their truck loaded up waste during the middle of a Saturday to dump the remaining waste. The guy helping guide us to where the waste was to be tipped at least was apologetic and tried his best to manage but this is not the first time we have been to total chaos at this operation.
Hey EnviroWaste. Are you going to take this issue seriously, seems not. Called and emailed this morning to report accident. Your recycling truck hit light pole outside my property while trying to reverse. It’s not leaning towards the property. Safety issue don’t you think? And you pride yourself on safety ?? Nope.nnThis is council land and they have been informed too.nnYou should work collaboratively to get this pole in a straight position.nnI don’t even get a reply to my email after calling you. Very poor.nnFine, there you have my google review.nSee the pictures and do something about it.nnConsider revising your HSE slogans if you can’t even deal with such issues. Get management to lift performance or consider their own optionsnnVery poor
I usually go here early mornings to avoid any queues and traffic while trying to back my truck in, although it seems a bit more expensive than the other refuse stations, I prefer the convenience. And the staff are always friendly.
Super nice people and it’s super nice that they’re open on a Sunday however, the green waste charges are insane. $200 for 500 kg crazy.
