Story

The Encounter Ministry Development School was established in 2010 to make ready for placement in the five-fold ministry, men and women from local churches in New Zealand. Since then, over 100 men and women have completed the course and many graduates have taken up roles as pastors, church planters, youth and assistant ministry roles throughout the nation.

Beginning in 2016, The Encounter Ministry Development School approach to training changes in two significant ways, to bring more study options, more flexibility and more mentoring.

Firstly, the school is adding a new range of study options: both one year and two year courses, with a wider range of training goals being catered for.

Secondly, the school is changing to be predominately “online” in order to offer students and churches more flexible options for study.

We believe this is a time of great opportunity for the expansion of the Kingdom of God in New Zealand.

Our response to this opportunity is to co-labour with pastors from churches across the country to prepare men and women to lead and serve with faithfulness and effectiveness.

Went along but I'm not sure if I believe I God? I tried to give it a go and I think being a part of a community would be nice and Christian values seem nice too but I think I find it too difficult to believe in God for me to be there. It felt... I'm not sure. Maybe I just need to be baptized. If the Holy Spirit touched me I'd definitely go back. The people were nice.
As a family, this is where we have planted ourselves. We love the vibe of meeting new people and creating genuine relationships. There are always community events, church events and something for the whole family to connect too, which for us is most important. Connection and our dynamic Encounters with God is why we can call Encounter Auckland home : Look forward to meeting all the new faces that visit!
The place to go for all your holy spirit needs
Visited this church at the Fire Fall Conference a few weeks ago. Amazing worship, very friendly people, great messages. Both my husband and I had many encounters with the Living God over there.The Holy Spirit was there all to see. We have been greatly impacted by Encounter church's worship and won't be the same. Thank you for the great conference.
A woke postmodern liberal marxist community. Female Pastors = Biblically Unqualified. They are a disgrace and openly reflect opposition to the Living Word of God. 1 Corinthians 14:33-35. 1 Timtohy 2:11-12.
Holy spirit atmosphere. My partner and i went to a leadership meeting and it was powerful so powerful my partners gone back for 2 more. There are a couple of very negitive reviews but dont let that stop you from checking out what jesus is planting in this house, We all have decernment. This is a highly unbliblical Church, trying to fake genuine manifestations of the Holy Spirit with weird behaviour i.e running around the inside of the church making a noise like a chicken or a dog. Sheesh. It doesn't get much worse. The leader is all for it.
Disappointing that the amazing Encounter Church would agree to allow Zoe Fuimaono to hold her event here, where she will continue to spread toxic and dangerous misinformation. Smarten-up, Encounter Church - she's going to bring you and the country nothing but problems.
