Writing on behalf of my partner after she voiced her concerns to Enable Me with no resolution - I think people should hear a clearer understanding of how this 'company' operates. My partner is a solo mother and budget is quite tight hence the Enable Me advertisments are rather compelling and seemingly worthwhile. Alas, the initial consult was $250 from mmeory yet they then added GST who in this day and age, for a retail service, quotes a product as GST exclusive...warning bells already?. The actual consult was very superficial and told her absolutely nothing she didnt already know about her own balance sheet and her investment options. Rather the main thrust of the consultation was to try and sell far more expensive packaged where the 'true secrets' would be unlocked. Please note that we did complain to the advisor who was a very nice guy but there was no intent to make this better Bottom line, the initial consult is a bit of a sham and you shouldn't pay for it. The subsequent courses and plans worth thousands may well be good but we wont be trying those given the bad taste the initial meeting has left. Ironcially, my partner is in a worse position than she was ever in given the weighty consultation fee....
Nice people but the service is too expensive, cookie cutter, not personal to you and with selling off all their sub services mortgage, property finder for example the accountability and customer service has left the central organisation. I wish I had heeded the reviews more. You can do this for free via a competent mortgage broker and an excel spreadsheet. Do not recommend.
Have just finished my first year with Enableme and it has been fantastic. I have learnt a great deal and changed my habits more than I imagined possible. Hannah had me hooked after my first consult with her and through out the year Jane has been so supportive and I really loved every meeting I had with her. I am excited about my second year and wished I had started with enableme earlier. The help they provide is brilliant.
Great place to go for help, I felt relaxed and comfortable, to be listened to and finally have some one provide a listening ear to possible good outcomes.
