Story

I am inspired by each person I photograph to create images that truly reflect their feelings and energy with a look or a reaction that is totally "them". I believe it is very hard to truly capture the natural character of a person in a cold, unfamiliar studio, so I have focused my craft on working where my clients feel most comfortable - whether that be at home, on a beach, or anything in between.

Emily was recommended to us through a friend. Emily was the only photographer we met and once we spoke to her we knew she was the right fit for us. She is not only an amazing photographer she is so lovely to deal with and made our whole day a breeze. The weather gods weren’t on our side for the day however she went above and beyond to scope out new photo locations on the day. Emily is a fantastic communicator and was in touch with us all the way through up until the day. She was able to help with our photo groups, our locations and keeping our nerves down on the big day. I have no hesitation is recommending Emily and her work!

We hired Emily for our wedding and would thoroughly recommend her for any large event or party. Her photos - both candid and posed - were shot with style and attention to detail, we are very pleased with the end result. I have wondered in the past whether a wedding photographer is worth the extra expense in these days of everyone having a good camera on their phone. I think what makes the difference is the work and extra effort Emily puts into her photos- scouting locations ahead of time, considering lighting, angles and then the editing and shot selection afterwards. It really highlights that you are receiving a professional service, not an enthusiastic amateur, and for that special event Emily is the perfect choice.
Emily has come several times to our preschool to photograph the children, their families, our environment and our staff. She is a natural with small children and an incredible photographer. The biggest challenge is how to decide your favourite of the gorgeous photos she takes.
We've worked with Emily almost every time unless she wasn't available we have needed new photography. She's reliable, flexible and amazing at what she does. She's done beautiful imagery for our founder's personal brand and also new imagery for our clinics. She makes us all feel comfortable and is just so damn lovely and talented! Emily has taken photos of our children, famillies and staff for the last four years. Not only is she a great photographer, but she has a wonderful manner with young children, coaxing incredible photos from even the most reluctant of subjects. We have always been delighted with the results and can thoroughly recommend Emily.
