Great place, great atmosphere. We were looking for closest bar from where we stayed and found this place. Very lively and friendly staff. Ordered 2/3 glasses of different beers each person and meals to share. Came back next day and bought 10 plastic bottles to take back. Loved it!
Great place to enjoy great beer. This iconic outlet is very busy and today was no different. Got seated on the booth with water and then no one came for a long time till we grabbed attention of a rushed wait staff. After that the service was impeccable. Thrice cooked chips were yum, fish was cooked well and the slaw was fresh, though lacking some zest. Kumara fritters were soaked in a thick sauce that was well flavored, however, the fritters lost its crunchy texture. Baos were good. The vegetarian salad with cheese was very average lacking good dressing. The place is very busy and most people swallow the food on offer with mind blowing beers this place brews.We came in for decent food so felt a bit disappointed.
Well worth the visit. The beer was perfectly cold, which is hard to get in a bar setting. Great food and atmosphere. If you are going on the brewery tour WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES
It's surprising to find great food at a brewery but emersons does it really well. They incorporate a fusion twist and blur the lines between fine dining and bar food. Keep it upFood: 5/5
Came here, especially for their crafted beer and pub foods. This place lives to the expectation of good pub foods and the different varieties of their house beers. We all liked the foods we had and also the beers. I especially like bbq pork ribs and peri peri chicken. A few of the beers we tried were light and have a fruity flavour.....nice.
The tour was interactive in a novel way and more insightful than most brewery tours I've been on. The guide, Harrison, was very knowledgeable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Generous tasting too! Would highly recommend the tour, as well as checking out all the brewer's reserves at the bar
We had a absolutely delightful 12 hour brisket. It was sweet and juicy with burnt edges. It sat on top of two golden breaded potato fritters. On top, the garnishes included a pickled purple cabbage and sprouts. The plate had swirl of mustard and purple ? Together it was St.Patrick's day extravaganza with an international flare fit for royalty. Do try it. It will knock your socks off. From the young man at the desk who sat us, the wee Irsh lass who was quick cleaver and witty and who kindly waited our table, to the manager who told us about the place and selected our sampler tray of Emerson brews... the service was welcoming, fun, and posh. Parking: Large ample parking area! Wheelchair accessibility: Wide aisles. Free open roll up to seating.
Waited an hour for a soggy burger and ribs that were over done in vinegar, some good chips and OK beer. Asked what was going on a few times and staff never came back. Not worth the hassel, eat elsewhere and buy the beer somewhere else. Kid-friendliness: Kids were going crazy with hunger and the excessive wait. Given a guess who game that was missing most of the parts. No snacks to be had right away.

A great night out... good food, friendly service, and fantastic beer. The Popcorn Prawns, Chille Salt Squid and Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese sauce were amazing.
