Such a great find! The pastries here are top-notch, major kudos to the pastry chef - Upi. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between relaxed and lively. Plus, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Already planning my next visit!
Entrees: Shrimp cocktail & pork dumplings.nPrice - 4/5nTaste - 5/5nPortions - 5/5nPresentation - 4/5nServing time - 5/5n*Could be a bit more creative with how you present/plate the shrimp cocktail, tasted delicious though.nnMain: Pork ribs & Chicken + bacon fettuccine.nPrice - 5/5nTaste - 5/5nPortions - 5/5nPresentation - 4/5nServing time - 5/5n*Ribs fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. Fettuccine was so good, both dishes were satisfying.nnDessert: Chocolate moussenPrice - 4/5nTaste - 3/5nPortions - 5/5nPresentation - 5/5nServing time - 5/5n*Suggestion, please use a smaller spoon like a 10ml teaspoon. The spoon we had was too big, it was roughly a 15-20ml spoon. It was hard to scoop the mousse out from the narrow end of the dessert glass.nnOverall Elsie's restaurant deserves a 5 star rating. Of all the restaurants I've been to, this place by far has the fastest service all the time. Not my first time here and definitely not my last.
Good food in a lovely old hotel.nThe service is quick & it never seems too crowded. There are gluten-free options, though they did seem to be out of some of those recently.nPlenty of parking right outside too.
