I had the vegan dinner plate with my boyfriend, it was very nice. Maybe a bit expensive, but you get a lot of food, so go there when hungry! The owner was also really friendly. Would recommend!!

Amazing experience. Best Eritrean food in Antwerp. Would recommend everyone to go and eat at Elsie’s Eritrean & Ethiopian restaurant. We got a little fire work for a birthday of a friend with traditional coffee and popcorn. Loved it Vegetarian options: Vegan & vegetarian options
Amazing food; we had combination platter with 2 meat options: the Doro chicken and Beef Zigeni. The owner is also very friendly!!The meal was so affordable as well. Will definitely be back
Good food but a little bit expensive. The restaurant has an overall home-made/ family flair. Plenty of vegetarian options, which is great. Portions seem small but the food is very filling. We liked the food but it seemed overall simple. We payed 50€ for a vegetarian menu for 2, a water and a coke. We felt this is a big overpriced for what it is. Nevertheless, it was a nice experience.
Our host was hospitable and informative. The diner is humble and the food is of good quality. We will surely return. We still need to taste her traditional coffee.
A very delicious and vegan Dinner. The Restaurant is very vegan-friendly. althought they have not vegan options. We enjoyed ist very much.
Friendly service but the food is not that good. Ethiopian in Brussels is way better. We ordered the 3-course menu and the first course were 4 small fried triangles, main course the classic Ethiopian dishes but too spicy and finally our dessert was popcorn. It took more than 1,5hours between first and main course. Would not recommend.
Authentic and absolutely delicious Ethiopian & Eritrean cuisine
As usual, an Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant doesn't let us down. The food was excellent and yet slightly different from other Ethiopian restaurants we've been to in Leuven & Kortrijk. The vegan dishes were amazing and so were the ones with meat- perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Ethiopian honey alcoholic drink was also a very nice touch to the authenticity of the restaurant. The owner was also a lovely host and was friendly to us explaining the dishes and her recommendations were on point. A place definitely visiting more than once. Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options both are available
