We are a small business that specialize in the world of Sewing/Quilting/Knitting/Crochet. We have a range of Fabric's, Thread's & Cotton's.
Elna sewing and Jan's Patch is a small local Dunedin business. Run by Shirley Wright, and helped by Tia Townshend. Shirley has extensive knowledge on all kinds of products and materials to do with craft and Quilt making.
We stock a whole lot of supplies from threads cotton/silk/rayon/100% wool/embroidery, batting bamboo mix and cotton, 100% American made fabric's, home spun/barticks, felt, visoflix down to things like rotary cutters, needles, thimbles, craft gloves to stop your hands getting sore and keep your work nice and neat, fabric pencils and erasers, pompom makers big and small! Some brands we have are: DMC, Clover, Gumnuts, YLI, Mettler, Madeira, Paper Pieces and more.
We have an extensive amount of Quilt Kits. These are made up of the fabric to make the pattern on the front of the Quilt. You can just buy the pattern if you wish. We have a "Block of the Month" that I will update on facebook. The block of the month runs for six months and if you wish to participate you will receive everything you need to make two blocks a month for six months to complete a 12 block Quilt. Also patterns for Golly Wogs as well as our range of scissor keepers, tape measure holders, pin cushions and more.
We stock parts for Elna sewing machines and have a technician we use to repair and service your machine if need be. He has more than 20 years experience so no need to fear your baby (machine) is in great hands!
