I have had a great experience at Ellesmere College. The opportunities I had especially in Rural Trades has helped me with my career. Some of the teachers have been particularly helpful.
At Ellesmere College, I've had a wonderful time. I've always been treated with respect and have always felt included. The students and teachers here are also great.
I spent a year at this school and I'm almost at the end of my second, I'm moving to a much better school next year because this school has felt like hell. I really want a good education and want to learn but I'm not even trying anymore with this school, over the two years I've been here all I have been taught is to respect each other and be happy which is what every basic human should do. You are not learning anything here. Not to mention all the rubbish, stains, bugs, and cobwebs throughout the classrooms!!!!!!
Myself and my siblings attended Ellesmere College, I can confidently say we have all had a good experience. I am enjoying my career and had a good start.
Title: A Disastrous Experience at Ellesmere College - 1 Star ReviewnnAs a concerned parent who entrusted their child's education to Ellesmere College, I must warn others about the dismal experience we encountered. This school deserves no more than a single star, and even that might be too generous.nnAcademics: The academic standards at Ellesmere College are shockingly low. The teachers seem disinterested and unmotivated, lacking the passion required to inspire young minds. The curriculum feels outdated and fails to engage students in any meaningful way. Instead of fostering critical thinking and creativity, the school appears to prioritize rote memorization and regurgitation of facts.nnFacilities: Prepare to step back in time when you enter the crumbling and run-down facilities of Ellesmere College. The classrooms are cramped and dreary, with outdated furniture and peeling paint on the walls. The lack of proper resources and technology hinders the students' ability to keep up with modern educational standards.nnExtracurricular Activities: The school's extracurricular offerings are abysmal. There's an utter lack of diversity in clubs and organizations, leaving students with limited options to explore their interests and passions outside of the classroom. Sports facilities are poorly maintained, making it impossible for aspiring athletes to train effectively.nnBullying and Discipline: Ellesmere College's approach to handling bullying and disciplinary issues is outright ineffective. The administration turns a blind eye to rampant bullying, creating a toxic and unsafe environment for students. The lack of proper disciplinary action allows disruptive students to run wild, further deteriorating the learning atmosphere.nnCommunication: Don't expect prompt or transparent communication from the staff. Parents are often left in the dark regarding their child's progress, and attempts to contact teachers or the administration are met with indifference or unresponsiveness.nnStaff Turnover: The school suffers from an alarming turnover rate among teachers and staff. The lack of continuity negatively impacts the students' learning experience, as they are repeatedly subjected to inconsistent teaching methods and unfamiliar faces.nnParent Involvement: Ellesmere College seems uninterested in fostering a strong relationship with parents. Their disregard for parental input and concerns creates an unhealthy distance between the school and the families it serves.nnIn conclusion, Ellesmere College is a disheartening place for any student seeking a quality education. The lackluster academics, decrepit facilities, and disregard for student welfare make it abundantly clear that this institution has little interest in nurturing the potential of its students. I implore parents to explore other educational options that will truly prioritize their child's growth and success. One star is more than generous for this woeful excuse of a high school.nnnot wRitten buy aI
