Stayed in the lodge guest suite. Where do I even start? We are in the midst of a pandemic and couldn’t even get hand soap in the bathroom. There was no QR code in sight. Needless to say, it made the stay uncomfortable as there was no identifiable Covid precautions. The place was neglected with greenery overgrown on the entry lights, dead bushes next to the patio, the guest suite covered in dust, and stains on the headboard and duvet cover. The pool was cold, and there was algae growing up the sides and down the stairs. Continental breakfast for two nights includes freeze dried coffee, three mandarins, generic muffins and couple other Countdown weekly specials. Plunger coffee grinds, but no plunger. No Ashley & Co. products as advertised. Oh, and if dare to use your cup more than once, be prepared to carry your dirty dishes to the garage to wash them. Expectations vs. Reality - don’t be fooled. This is not luxury.
