About Me...

Hi! I'm Sarah, the owner of Elegance Hair Styling and Grace Photography - home based in Leeston, Canterbury. I love hairstyling and photography, being creative, getting candid shots/portraits, and doing styled photo shoots. With a recently obtained advanced diploma in photography, I am seeking to constantly improve my skills. I would love to help you with your special occasion!

FAQ

Q) What is a styled photo shoot?
A) It's a photo shoot where I'll style your hair before taking the photos. I can style hair for a group too, such as birthday or engagement parties.

Q) Do you come in to Christchurch to do hairstyling?
A) Not at this stage, as I can't drive yet. Appointments are at my home in Leeston.

Q) Can you do styles other than what are pictured?
A) Yes, I'm always experimenting with new styles and learning different ones, so if you would like me to do a style that's not up here, just contact me and I'll be happy to. Prices may vary, depending on how tricky/time consuming it is.

Q) Are the photos of actual styles that you have done, or have you got the photos off the internet?
A) All of the photos are (and will be) of styles I've done myself, and photographed.

Q) Do you style hair for adults, or is it only for kids?
A) Yes, I style hair for all ages and have done a number of styles on ladies as well as girls.

Q) Can you style curly hair?
A) Yes, although not all shown styles will be achievable on curly hair. One of my sisters has very curly hair, and I'm able to braid, plait, do buns, etc in her hair.

Q) Do you curl and straighten hair too?
A) Yes, I have straighteners and curling tongs and am very happy to straighten or curl your hair, or incorporate curls into a style. Or if you have wavy/slightly curly hair and want it straightened and then styled, I can do that too.
