The Egmont A & P Association, established in Hawera in 1883. Is run by an Executive Committee, a dedicated Voluntary group of mainly farming people who are committed to keep the Showgrounds alive for the Community. The Annual Show is our flagship event.
A not for profit organisation the core business is to provide a
community venue and a yearly A&P show. The Association held it's first show at the Burnside grounds in 1958 for it's 75th Anniversary and has held a show every year since.
