We take no responsibility for pact formation or messages you may receive. As stated above anyone who attempts to message you needs to be reported. This page will however provide support if you become distressed by someone bullying you and post reminders for others on how to deal with these people.

We encourage and empower people to support each other on the page at all times. We do not encourage members to Priavte message  (interact) with each other / friend each other on Facebook. There are a number of reasons for this:
1.	One can never be sure of whom they are interacting with as people may use fake names. Some are genuine and others are not. 
2.	One does not know who is trained in mental health and it may be detrimental to their health if they take advice from others.
3.	A persom giving a lot of support to others may not be caring for themselves. Self care is their priority and we should not encourage practices that would affect this. 
4.	People who are not in a safe place and interact with each other off the page may influence each other negatively (e.g. suicide pacts, pro - eating disorder talk etc.).
5.	Interactions cannot moderate interactions off the page so therefore we cannot protect people if they communicate in such a setting.

Medication
We advise people to take medication as prescribed by a medical professional / pharmacist (chemist). Advise from any other person may not be in your best interests. Only take advise from someone who is caring for you in a professional relationship and is currently registered to prescribe / practise.

Crisis Support
We do not currently have the facilities to provide crisis support. Please seek support from the emergency services and or a registered and established helpline in your country. If you are living away from your home country please refer to your embassy for recommendations if you are unsure. The services which this page recommends are well established and registered.  Persons who post suicidal content or self harm content with reference to themselves or directed at individuals will be provided with a list of suicide hotlines. This page is here to discuss the risk factors around suicide (such can reduce the peoples burden preventing crisis), bring awareness to them and this public health issue. This can be done in a supportive manner but we will not provide crisis support on the page. The reason for this is such behavior can become normalized and create contagion.

Missing Persons

As we reach out to people all over the world we cannot share statuses regarding missing persons.

Charity Events

Anyone raising funds for the cause of suicide prevention  (or indeed any other cause) can post under the posts by others section.  If our investigations lead us to find that these causes are fake we will hide and if necessary report to the law enforcement and Facebook.

Page Shares
We are happy share other pages we may do this once per week on a status as we grow. Share will stay up for at least 24 hours.

We will post and requested topics for discussion or support in the speak of the person requesting. If you wish any typing or spelling errors to be corrected please state.  We thank you for your understanding.

This page will take guidance from the World Health Organizations recommendations on suicide prevention, the Samaritans UK and Suicide Prevention Australia  for media  reporting on suicide and the British Psychological Society in terms of ethics and codes of practice.

Interventions
This page will post interventions to reduce any possible effects of contagion and encourage people to take regular breaks from the internet in order to maintain their mental well being and connect with others in real life. This is particularly the case if you are in crisis.

Abuse of admin
This page operates a zero tolerance policy.

Inappropriate, unkind and in proper conduct from followers. We will provide one warning by commenting back to you (this page does not inbox to individuals accounts unless requests for support are made through the message tab on the page, under no circumstances will your wall (wall of personal accounts) be written on by this page) and on the second occasion you may be banned. We ask that you consider if you are in the right space and suitable for such an environment. In some circumstances we will ban outright if the matter is serious enough as defined by admin.

Addiction and Contagion
This page takes no responsibility for any addiction or emotional contagion which may develop. We advise that people whom are in a vulnerable mental or emotional state keep their use of the internet and online support groups to a minimum. Such supports are best used in addition to external supports in times of need when other services are busy or unavailable.

Child Protection and Confidentiality
Where a child or minor is deemed to be at risk we will contact the necessary authorities in your country. To prevent this happening we will need the contact details of a person already involved with the case so we can confirm that support is already in place. Without this we will ban from use of this page.

Where a person is regularly self - harming or placing them or others at risk we will require the contact details of a professional or family doctor / general practitioner you are registered with.

In both cases we will ask for your consent to contact these people and inform you of what will be shared.

In addition we may ask for the details of next of kin to contact in an emergency.
