About Cat Rescue Charity based in Manurewa, South Auckland. Story 9 Lives Orphanage was founded in 2014 and is a registered non-profit cat and kitten rescue, run by a small team of passionate volunteers. Our aim is to help eradicate homeless cats and kittens by de-sexing and re-homing as many Auckland cats and kittens as we can. What first started in our homes, has now expanded to an almost completed new cattery!
