About Traditional Kiwi (fresh) Fish, Chips and Burgers with a few twists at the sea-side, Manawatu estuary, bird sanctuary, forest and dunes (all readily accessible). Story Run as a 'Mom & Pop' operation, this local institution is being brought back from the brink by serving good food at reasonable prices with an emphasis on freshness and a traditional Fish, Chips & Burgers menu with a few unexpected extras such as salt & vinegar, newspaper wraps, proper egg-crumbed fish (many shops now use a special batter before dipping fish in breadcrumbs - yuk!), our own fish fritters (potato and Kumara) and Dutch Croquettes.
