"Two Style Dining: Sushi train, ramen and bentos for LUNCH and Sake Bar Izakaya sharing style authentic Japanese dishes with some original pieces for DINNER. Sushi Ninja is a family owned and operated by hosts Ken Yamagata, Japan and Sophie Japanese Kiwi and have been in operation since 2007. Owners originally came to Taranaki from Auckland in food truck during the 2003 the Hollywood's The Last Samurai movie filming here in the region, fell in love with the place and moved here permanently and opened Sushi Ninja. They love to showcase their "Little Japan's" hospitality and cuisine to locals and visitors alike. Bookings are strongly recommended to avoid disappoint especially as they are short staffed.
