About Our toy library provides a wide variety of educational and challenging toys for children from 9 months to five years old. MEMBERSHIP FEES 12 months $160 (with duty $90) 3 terms $130 (with duty $70) 2 terms $100 (with duty $60) Story Play is the way! Through play, children learn problem solving, communication, develop their fine motor skills, be creative and have fun. About Us We are a charitable organisation run by a volunteer committee of local Mums and a dedicated administrator and librarian. We provide a large selection of toys for children from infants to 5 years old. Our members enjoy access to over 1200 toys and we are regularly adding new toys to the library (and retiring the old) to ensure our toys are always in great condition for our members and their kids. Benefits of joining a Toy Library: - enables you to try toys before you buy (or not buy) - enables you to have toys at home for a loan period , return them and exchange, giving your child access to a variety of toys without cluttering your home - you can enjoy watching your children learn through play General Information Location: Glendowie Community Centre, 83 Crossfield Road, Glendowie, Auckland, New Zealand Opening Hours: Monday and Wednesdays 9am - 11am Saturdays 9:00 - 12:00 pm Fees: We have two membership options; Duty and Non-Duty. Our duty members help keep our toy library running. A full year Duty Membership is $80 and requires you to complete four rostered duties over the year. A non-rostered membership is $160. We do not charge per toy but you will be responsible for lost pieces and fines are incurred for overdue toys. Borrowing Toys: Each family may borrow a maximum of four toys at a time. You may borrow the toys for two or three weeks.
