Our journey to establish an Early Childhood Centre "Kids on f.o.o.t Daycare equipping and empowering our children to discover their greatness"

Story
This page is to document our journey - it has been quite a journey thus far - but we are excited about what is happening as we work towards opening our Daycare doors in Wainuiomata.  We will be honest and document the UPS and the DOWNS - all of it makes for a fabulous testimony and great encouragement for those trying or dreaming of taking on the same journey!!

We have a vision to provide Early Childhood Education that equips and empowers our children to discover their greatness.

Kids on foot was established in 2010 as a Holiday Programme and After/Before School care for school aged kids.  (OSCAR Out of school care and recreation)

2016 will see us open up our very first ECE (Early Childhood Education) centre for under 5 year olds.

By adding ECE services to our OSCAR services at the same site, we aim to build quality relationships with families and retain this relationship with them from when their children are pre-schoolers, right the way through their primary education.  
 
WAINUIOMATA will be home to our first centre - we have a vision to attach ECE centres to each of our OSCAR programmes that currently exist in Petone, Taita & Kilbirnie.
