About www.teureweratreks.co.nz Te Urewera Treks offers a range of 1-4 day wilderness treks in the remote rain forests of Te Urewera and Whirinaki, in the east of NZs north island, all brought to life by experienced local Maori guides. We are an indigenous fam Story Our Season of Operation is from October - May of every year. We hibernate for the Winter months of June, July and August. Our Office is based in Ngaputahi, along with our Bushcamp. These are not open to the public to view, but you can contact me if you are interested via email, FB or Phone. We have regulated days for our day treks, they are: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays Bush camp nights are: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays We are closed during the following Public Holidays - 24, 25, 26, 31 December 1, 2, 3 January For group bookings larger than 8 people or to book the Bush camp exclusively, please contact me directly.
