About Reel Recovery New Zealand are a charity who facilitate fly-fishing retreats for men with cancer. Story Reel Recovery New Zealand are a charity who facilitate fly-fishing retreats for men with cancer. All men who have or have had cancer are eligible to participate at no cost to themselves for a weekend of fly fishing and camaraderie. Guidance is provided by expert instructors explaining the methods of fishing that are available. Time fishing out on the water will be with an experienced fishing buddy who will help you find your way in the water. The atmosphere on these weekends builds group camaraderie.
