All levels welcome Yin Yoga In a 30 - 33 degrees celcius setting, Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not worked deeply in a more active (yang) style of asana practice. It is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. All levels welcome Sivananda Yoga Sivananda Yoga is a form of hatha yoga that is growing in popularity around the world, largely because of its simplicity. Essentially, Sivananda has refined yoga to five key principles and twelve basic asanas. Sivananda classes are physically challenging but also relaxing and energising. All levels welcome Vinyasa Flow In a 30 - 33 degree celcius setting - Vinyasa is “breath-synchronized movement”. Experience challenging asanas that emphasize flowing with breath.Vinyasa Flow’s strength is it’s diversity based on intuition, intention and wide variety of dynamic postures. Students are guided through a class of classic Sun Salutes, standing poses and floor work. Great for students ready to take the next step in their yoga journey! Chi Yoga Chi Yoga is a blend of Yoga asanas (postures) and Chi Kung (energy work). Classes are practiced in a heated room. Chi Kung (Qigong) Chi Kung is a holistic health system that works on the most fundamental level of human life, the level of chi (qi, life force energy) and consciousness. Practising Chi Kung is a natural way to enhance health, heal illness and develop our full potential as human beings. It involves physical movements, special mind activities, breathing, sounds, emotions and other techniques to activate chi and harmonize its flow. Practicing Chi Kung strengthens the connection and integration between the body, mind and human life force and promotes the body’s own self-healing processes. All levels welcome Tai Chi Tai chi is a gentle exercise program that is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Derived from the martial arts, tai chi is composed of slow deliberate movements, meditation, and deep breathing which enhances physical health and emotional well-being. All levels welcome
