About Since 1993 the Fifeshire Foundation has been helping our own community. Real help, where it's needed in Nelson/Tasman. Story Since 1993 we have been helping people in Nelson/Tasman who are facing financial hardship and domestic crisis. Each month our voluntary Fifeshire Foundation trustees consider 30 - 40 applications. If applications are successful we can pay doctor's bills, buy fridges, deliver firewood and much much more, on people's behalf. Over the year we give out $120,000 to people in need. Our work is only possible because of the generosity and donations from local families and businesses. Nothing is spent on administration. 100% of our donations goes directly to help people because all our administration costs are covered by local businesses.
